Active on Holiday

In addition to its wonderful scenery, the area around the National Park offers a wide range of holiday activities particularly for nature lovers and families all the year round. The scenery is best appreciated by trying some of the hundreds of kilometers of marked footpaths and cycle routes, or in winter the extensive and snow sure network of cross country skiing trails.

Of course, there are also organised and theme based tours for cyclists, walkers and cross country skiers. Detailed maps are available in all tourist information offices and bookshops. In addition, every town and village has facilities for active enjoyment of the surrounding nature.
