Do you like walking? An extensive network of well marked paths takes you through the fascinating Natural Landscape of the Bavarian Forest. Varying from strenuous to gentle, for full day walks or just a few hours, there are an infinite number of lovely tours to discover.

Anyone who prefers company when walking can go out with a friendly guide. There are also historical walks, along the ‘Gold Route’ for example, which was a medieval salt trading route, salt being the white gold of the time.

The "Glass Route" visits the locations of the old Glass Works. Anyone who wants to spend their whole holiday in walking boots can "Walk without Luggage" from place to place.
