Glass Works

Even today, you can still find many glass works in the Bavarian Forest  - it is fascinating to watch how the glassmaker takes the 1,300 degree hot, glowing mass and forms, turns and shapes it until it become a glass to drink out of. Glassmakers learn their craft in many years of apprenticeship and only the best become masters.

Watch them and even try glass blowing yourself. But beware:  „Making glass is an eternal burden“ as the saying goes! Fortunately, there are opportunities to buy glass everywhere – and at very good prices.
