The artists of the Bavarian Forest National Park Region display their talents in numerous small studios and workshops. Wood, stone, metal and, above all, glass, are displayed in galleries and exhibitions in all their facets.
Landscape of Music
The people of the Bavarian Forest have always been known as musical. In songs and instrumental pieces they express their relationship with the forest. Down to earth entertainment can be found in the many ‘inns with music’ or listen to the brass bands in the many open air concerts. Groups from neighbouring Bohemia often play too.
Many places also have programmes with a wide range of classical and contemporary music. Not to mention the many clubs for younger people!
